Carl DeFreitas: Rider
Carl’s experience enhances his reputation and his talent is much sought after by many knowledgeable horsemen. His ability to gauge a horse's movement and soundness under his saddle gives Curraghmore the edge in developing and maintaining a sound, long-lasting racehorse. We are most fortunate that Carl has, for the past five years, started our young Thoroughbreds on their racing careers. His quiet, gentle manner transforms young horses into confident athletes.

In Memoriam : Murray Munroe 1945-2005
Murray is a man who will always be remembered at Curraghmore.
He was our farm farrier for 25 years until his untimely death in January 2005.
For a farm that insists on the best of everything, Murray was the perfect fit.
His kindness and patience with the horses in conjunction with his experience,
craftsmanship and talent made him a great farrier and a cherished
member of our family. He is greatly missed!
